Scout’s Year in Review 2018: A Letter From Our Founders

Greetings! On behalf of the Scout founders, we wanted to take a moment to announce some amazing news and also reflect on what success we’ve seen in 2018.

Today, we’re incredibly excited to announce Scout has raised $33M in Series C funding. The round was led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from previous investors Menlo Ventures and NewView Capital. Strategic investors, Workday Ventures and Salesforce Ventures, also joined in the round. That’s a pretty amazing milestone for our young company! There was a lot that happened this past year to help us get here.

We kicked off 2018 with a SPARK, hosting our first customer conference which was a huge success. Since that event, we’ve nearly doubled the number of customers using Scout’s platform and also Scouts (over 105!).

We spend a lot of time with our customers as that’s one of our most important values.  That collaborative connection is what helped Scout earn the coveted Gartner Customers’ Choice recognition in October. Building simple, feedback-driven solutions is a critical part of Scout’s DNA, so we cannot thank our customers enough for taking the time to share their thoughts. Their support is the reason we’ve seen such success in the industry.

To put it all in perspective, below we wanted to share some key highlights from 2018.

2019 is already shaping up to be an incredible year. We hope that we will connect with you all at SPARK this February 26th-27th in San Francisco as we bring Sourcing Center Stage.
